This panorama was taken at about the half-way point of the High Line, a 1.45 mile (2.33 km) linear park in Manhattan, New York City. The park was built on a disbandond railway line and is a very popular destination in New York. First sections were opened in 2009, with additional sections being opened in 2011, 2014 and 2015.With the creation of the High Line, the area around the High Line has become an increasingly popular area to live and new buildings with interesting architectures are being built around the High Line as is the case in this photo.More information about the Highline and its history can be found on wikipedia.
