Joan of Arc monument on Decatur street in New Orleans. It was erected in 1972 by France as a gift to New Orleans to commemorate Jean of Arc defending it’s namesake Orléans from the English during the Hundred Year war.

Sculpture in Woldenbert Park in New Orleans, Louisianna, USA. The sculpture provides some great reflections, including of the photographer. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best, but it still is a nice panorama.

For the “Great American Eclipse” of August 21s, 2017, we had an opportunity to travel to Nebraska to experience the eclipse.  The Sherman Ranch owners allowed us access to their property for this event, giving us a very unique and peaceful experience of the eclipse.  This panorama was taken at the totality. Note the sunset all around and the dusk / dark surroundings.   There were clouds in the sky across most of the country for the eclipse, which you can also see in the photo, but we did get a good view of the eclipse itself and the clouds actually add to the sky.
