City owned Pere Marquette Beach is a 2.5 mile (4 km) long beach alongside the shore of Lake Michigan in Muskegon, Michigan. It is the laterest free public beach on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan and offers a long wide stretch of sandy beach which is popular with cyclists, runners and hikers (source wikipedia).The beach also provides beautiful sunsets as can be seen in this photo.
