It honors the gay rights movement and the Stonewall riots that started the gay liberation movement.\u00a0 You can see the Stonewall Inn, where the movement originally started, through a gap in the trees &#8211; it is a low building with all the rainbow flags.The sculpture is made from bronze and finished with a white-painted finished.
