Madison Square park is a 6.2 acre, 2.5 hectare, park in Manhattan, New York City. It is bounded on the east by Madison Avenue, on the south by 23rd street, on the North by 26th street and on the West by Broadway and Fifth Avenue. The park is a pleasant and popular oasis of greenery in Manhattan and is surrounded by famous buildings. Prominently on this photo, you can the the Metropolitan Life North building and the Metropolitan Life tower (with the clock) being hit by the golden sunlight.  The Metropolitan Life tower was originally an office building for the Metroplitan Life Insurance Company which is now converted into a hotel. To the left of the Metroplitan Life Building is the Merchandise Mart Building, a 42 story international style office building completed in 1974. The tall building to the right of the Metroplitan Life tower is One Madison Park, a luxury residential condominium tower located on 23rd street between Broadway and Park Avenue.Below the Metropolitan Life tower you can also see the first Shake Shack, which started as a food card in Madison Square Park, then became a fixed feature in teh park before it became a fast casual restaurant chain across the US.On the opposite side of the park, you can see the famous Flatiron Building through the trees, a 22 story Beaux-Arts building completed in 1902 and characterised by its triangular shape with a sharp angle. To the right of the Flatiron building you can see the International Toy Center, a 16 story renaissance revival office building completed in 1909.If you would like to explore the area further, I recommend wikimapia which lists a lot of informatoin about the buildings around the park.
