Shortly after we experienced a stunning sunset over Mackinac Bridge from Mackinaw city, the moon rose on the opposite side of the straits creating a beautiful view of the last rays of sunshine combined with a full moon rising out of the water.Mackinac Bridge is a suspension bridge over the Straits of Mackinac which connects the upper and lower peninsula of Michigan, USA.  5 Miles in length, for decades, the bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world. The Straits of Mackinac connects two of the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.
